jcresumes.com review

Editor's Rating:

jcresumes.com review and discounts

A resume writing company offers a classic number of resume services. The site is appealing to eye and states they staff certified resume writers. Also, it allows you to use Groupon if you have one. All the information on site is related to making an order and services description, so there’s no “water” on the site which is quite helpful.

Pricing policy

Prices are located under the Services tab. The final price for your resume depends on the career level only. Starter’s resume here is $179, and the professional one (the option which I used) is $215. You also can order a CV at $315 and a cover letter which is only $45.

Order details

After you’ve determined with resume type, you can click on Start my resume. There’s an online form I had to fill in and then I attached my old resume. If you don’t have one, there’s an online questionnaire you’ll heed to complete. After I’ve placed and paid my order, we scheduled the appointment to contact with the writer.

Quality of writing and support

The process of writing started from phone conversation with the writer during which he asked me clarifying questions about the attached resume, my career objectives and goals. After we talked, I was informed that the first draft will be delivered to me in 3 days. They have an online chat, which is not available 24/7 like on 24houressays.com, and a standard Contact Us form.

When in 3 days I haven’t got a resume, I messaged them on chat asking about how soon it was going to be completed. I was told that the writer needed 12 additional hours. But why didn’t they ask me about it earlier? I got my resume the next day. I liked both design and writing style. However, the objective could be better. Though the resume was ok, I’d take off stars for a late delivery without any prior informing about that.
