I used to write resumes on my own. But as I kept sending my resume to various companies and didn’t get any interviews, I decided to get some professional writer’s help. I thought that professionals probably knows better what employers are looking for in resume, so I was in a mood to order a package from them. To see the price, you will need to pick career level first. There are three packages offered on each level – basic, advanced and premium. They differ by the number of options only. For entry level, the prices per package vary from $199 to $499; my career level is Professional and the prices there were $399-$699. It’s kind of downside that these packages can’t be customized, and I didn’t need 20 Thank You letters and online resume storage. I stayed at $399 package.

As soon as I was determined with the package, I proceeded to checkout and paid. Some of the sites, for instance, Classy Resumes company offer registration and placing an order right on the site, but as here wasn’t such an option, I simply emailed them my old resume, cover letter and job ads I was going to apply for. A couple of hours later I got a phone call from them and scheduled a phone interview with the writer.
Quality of writing and support
A consultation with the writer took me less than an hour. During this time, we discussed my employment record in deeper detail and focused on my career goals. The standard delivery time (unless you paid for rush delivery) is 3 days which is pretty fast. As for site support, they got a phone number and a chat which is not always online. However, I used none of these as I messaged my writer directly. The package has been delivered to me on time.
Conclusion
After I’ve checked a resume, I have to admit that in comparison to the resume I sent them it was much more tailored, detailed and well-structured as well as the cover letter, and listed my achievements in full. But I cannot say there was something exceptional in this resume. Moreover, the price is not cheapest, and may not be affordable for someone. My resume was ok, but I think there are more affordable services around.
